This is the JPG template for the main card, you can either use this as it is, just print out, fold on the line, same as with the inlay sheet below, cut out the circles, line up with the images and glue. Embellish the card as you desire. Or you can cut the bottom half out to glue on to other card stock, this will be a little trickier to line the circles up with the images ont the inlay sheet, although I didn't have too much of a problem.

BUTTERFLY CARD

Hello all, hope you are well. I haven't been crafting for a while as I have had so many things going on. I felt the need today to make something so took some pretty images from the www and made this tiered butterfly and floral card. Just click on the images and right click to save them, print out and you're ready to go. The card in the photo I printed on A5 paper and it's come out beautiful.

'SUITS HER'

This is a variation on the Suit's You card for a male, I thought I'd design one for a female. I love grey and red together, if I were a professional in a professional job I would wear red blouses and grey pinstripe suits. I am wondering if the shoulders are a little too broad for a female, but I my whole purpose of this blog is to give you inspiration and something to work with, so you can adapt it and intergrate your own ideas. The instructions are as the male version, but I have added some sleeves which you can glue on, or make your own style.

The kit includes the templates to make the above card, a leopard print one, blank JPGs and PNGs and an envelope template. Don't forget I love to see people's creations, so send me your pics or links if you make any of them :)

An idea I had this morning. These ideas just seem to be in my head when I wake up, it's very strange, I don't know where they come from.

I think this hand henna art is so pretty, and so easy to glitter up. Just type 'henna' in to Google, choose the 'line art' in images option and there are tons of ideas.
This one is good for inspiration. The henna art patterns could also be used for bordersetc. There's thousands out there.

If you find cutting out a little fiddly, this one can be printed out and embellished as is. (click image, right click and save to your computer)

Hello :)
I'm going to ask for a small favour of you.
My brother has a photography blog, it's a 365, which means that he posts one photograph that he has taken that day, every day. He puts sooo much effort in to this project, so much thought and I feel a bit, well, sad that he doesn't get any comments.
He is the best brother in the world. My brother is deaf, and yet he has never let it hold him back. He is multi talented, is a fantastic artist, he works hard hard hard for little reward, and this little blog of his means so much to him.

Minature Teddy Knitting Pattern

I used size 12 needles and 4 ply, obviously the smaller needles and ply you use, the smaller the bear. This one turned out at 3.5" tall.

Body

Cast on 10 stitches

K 1 row.
K twice into every st = 20sts

K 5, k twice into next st, K 8. K twice into next st, K 5 = 22 sts

Knit 9 rows.

K2 together to the end.

Cast off P wise.

Legs (make 2)

Cast on 8 sts.

K 1 row

K into every stitch = 16sts

Knit 3 rows.

Foot K3, K2 tog, K3 tog,K3 tog K2 tog, K3 = 10 sts

K 1 row

K twice into 1st and last 2t = 12st

To make up: Sew up seams and firmly stuff. Sew closed. Sew pieces into place and use black wool for eyes and nose detail.

Teddy Bear Box Presentation Card

Well this is an odd little number. I knitted the little bear on Saturday because, well I don't know, just because. ( I know it doesn't have a face, I am rubbish at bear faces!)

Then I decided to see if I could somehow incorporate it in to a card of some kind, I did warn you my ideas are totally random.

In the set I have included the templates for the card in the photos, apologies, the papers were from a free set but I have so many now I can't remember what comes from where (if you recognise them please let me know) and also blank templates you can use with your own papers. There are also the templates for a box, left blank for your own designs.

You can put whatever you want in the box, (see my other post for cute bootees?) decoupage flowers, anything that you may have created. For a more finished professional look you could glue a peice of vellum across it before gluing to the card.

Hope you have fun with it, and don't forget to send me photos of anything created, it makes it all worthwhile.

Summer Lily Card & Box

Today's card set has a very summery theme. I have embellished this one to oblivion, you can keep yours simple if you prefer. The set includes all the templates to make a card with a 3D window, of course you can use the decoupage flowers (a choice of two there) on a plain card if you're not ready to try the boxy type. It also includes a template to make the display box, a butterfly and 'mum' cut out.

I have found a great product, hobby and craft dots, they are brilliant for tricky to glue areas, such as the tabs on the display box, it saves having to hold small areas in place waiting for glue to dry. Apologies to fellow bloggers outside the UK, this is a UK site, but there are certainly similar products sold elsewhere. I also used these dots to glue the green ribbon in place.

This is a quick set I made inbetween working and general houseperson stuff, how I wish I had more time so I could sit and craft all day!
Anyways, this is a simple but classy set, I think, it comes in three colours and includes bold and faded card fronts, a matching topper, insert and 2 envelope designs. I think this set is suitable for any occasion. Looks lovely in its simplest form, or you can go mad with the embellishments. I just added a few gems and a bit of glitter!

Perfect Flowers

These are a few bits and bobs that may inspire you, as they did me.
These templates are designed to be snowflakes, but I think they're a great way to make asymetrical flowers. I don't own a cuttle bug machine, or whatever they're called, or anything like it, my husband won't let me buy one because if he did nothing would ever get done around the house and I would never want to leave for work, ever. So I have to make flowers the prehistoric way, with scissors, and somehow they just never look professional enough, even after careful, precise cutting on the dotted lines. These templates, once you've got the hang of them, make gorgeous flower shapes, and after a bit of practice you can even make your own designs. Even if you 'snip' in the wrong place, you can't go wrong, because all the sides end up looking the same!

Cut out the shape, square or circle, fold in half, and then in half again, and then in half again, obviously keeping the printed shaded pattern on top, then cut out the shaded areas, open up and voila! The templates can be resized to make a whole host of different sized and layered displays!
Click on the images, then right click and 'save as' on your computer.

The following ones are a little more intricate, they are called 6 sided, but brilliant once you get the hang!

Pet in a Box

Today's project has a special place in my heart. This is the first template set I designed about two years ago when my interest in card making and papercrafts started. It's so simple to make, honest! When mastered this can be thrown together in less than 10 minutes. And the possibilities are endless, look how cute it is. The set contains the box template, no glueing required, the buckle, a whole heap of other pets, cats and dogs, front and back, a small 'tag' for writing your message and the envleope template. It is designed so it can be sent flat packed in an enevelope, and the recipient then simply slots the box in to shape. Scroll down to download the free set

The bottom of the box simply slots together:

Cut your chosen pet out, stick a small peice of card to the back, and then glue the back peice of the pet over it, this peice of card you glue to the box.

When flattening to put in to the envelope ensure the lower tabs are folded inside.

Even in its simplest form this card is so cute, but you can add embellishments, ribbons, gems, a handle, just use your creativity to snazz it up! If you do choose to make one I'd love to see your pics :)
